Training: Navigating Children's Challenging Behaviors

  • St. Croix Sensory 1150 Stillwater Boulevard North Stillwater, MN, 55082 United States (map)

Sometimes children’s behaviors are downright challenging, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and helpless. During this session we’ll examine reasons for these challenging behaviors and look at why children’s emotional and physical responses can be so strong and what we can do to begin to teach greater self-control. There will be a special focus on how we can alter our reactions to and attitudes about many of these behaviors so the child can begin to thrive. All participants will have an opportunity to use a tool during the session to help formulate a plan for change based on some of the issues they’re facing in their classroom right now. This class is geared towards those who care for children toddler aged through school-age. When this class is offered online it will be broken into smaller segments so the participants can take the course when it works in their schedule.
